Academic
Status

Academic Warning
This is just a warning! Being on this status results from having a semester GPA below 2.50 for ONE semester. Members' privileges are not impacted at this point. They may still attend socials and have voice/vote in accordance with the updated bylaws. However, Academic Warning does mean the member has been noted as needing to improve their GPA or be placed on to Academic Monitoring (explained below) for the next semester. Members on Academic Warning must also complete study points and a midterm check-in.
Study Points
Members must complete 35 study points by the end of the semester to avoid a fine. To avoid the socials' no go lists, the study points must be completed in stages by the due dates provided in the Study Points Tab.
Midterm Check-in
Midterm check-ins must be completed by all members on Academic Warning. Otherwise, they could be fined or placed on no go lists for any social. These check-ins are conducted by the Director of Academics, and times are announced in September.
If none of the times announced work for you, email the Director of Academics.
Exceptions
Exceptions to being on Academic Warning status must be brought before a Membership Integrity meeting and agreed upon by the Director of Academics and the Vice President of Membership Integrity.

SDS Accommodations are not a viable exception under this status since the member does not lose social privileges or voice/vote.
